Georges Bay Apartments (previously known as Homelea  Accommodation ) has been re-imagined, and now proudly presented by Tasmanian hospitality entrepreneurs and Farmers Stuart & Karen Burbury.

One of Tasmania’s favourite, family-owned restaurant groups, the ESKI stable includes Launceston, venues Cataract on Paterson and Rupert & Hound.

Karen and Stuart have holidayed in St Helens with their family for many years, and the decision to open accommodation in one of their favourite parts of the world, felt simply like a natural progression.

“At our restaurants, we’re passionate about delivering a fantastic Tasmanian dining experience which reflects real value” Karen says.

“Our young family adore St Helens, and when the opportunity came up to be able to provide simple, yet stylish and ultra-comfortable accommodation in such a special spot, we just had to do it”.

The Georges Bay team have attended to every detail, ensuring guest comfort is the absolute priority.

“We've chosen beautiful soft linens, lovely Tasmanian artworks and furnishings in a soothing coastal colour palette — and we’ve made sure that the self-contained kitchens really do cater for every need” says Karen.

“This is a place where we love to escape our daily lives, to explore and unwind — we trust our guests will feel relaxed and at home too”.
